Experiment Workshops

Port-a-Lab carries its portable laboratory to local cafes/libraries and shops. This is a perfect way to demonstrate that science is not only to be found in classrooms and school laboratories. Little innovators have the opportunity to investigate, observe, experiment and test some scientific facts and phenomena in experiment workshops. 

• The experiments are suitable for primary school children from reception to year 4.
• All materials and safety equipment are provided by Port-a-Lab. 
• Colouring pencils and papers are provided for siblings who cannot join in the workshop.

Experiment workshops are arranged according to local cafes'/libraries' convenience and are announced accordingly - please see the events calendar or get in touch to be informed when our next event is open for subscription. 

Experiment workshop in your space?

Please feel free get contact with us if you have a suitable space to host an experiment workshop. Any local shops/cafes/libraries/education centres are welcome! Workshops are tailored to your environment - we just need space for at least 10 to 12 children, and we take care to minimise mess and clean up any that does happen.
